Salice hinge for upright doors. This kitchen hinge has an opening angle of 165° and a bore of 48 mm.
The hinge is springless, which means that the door is not pulled shut. A cushioned hinge is needed if the door is to be pulled softly shut the last bit.
A 165° kitchen hinge without spring is often used for doors with inner drawer with a Tip-On mechanism. Because this hinge can open further, it falls outside the body and the drawer does not hit the kitchen door. Because the spring is not present, the Tip-On can be easily operated.
