If you received a Quooker CUBE delivered before December 2021, it comes standard with a Hollow Fiber filter. With the Hollow Fiber filter in the Quooker CUBE, any remaining bacteria are filtered out of the water. The 0.1 micron filter filters bacteria out of the water. Therefore, no other contaminants are filtered out of the water. There are also Hollow Fiber filters (0.02 ultra filter) that can filter other contaminants from the water but this does not benefit the water pressure. Because of the good quality of Dutch drinking water, we supply a 0.1 micron filter. This filter is available in our webshop. From November 2021 we do not equip the CUBE standard with a filter anymore. The water quality in the Netherlands does not require that the CUBE is used with a filter. Should you still wish to equip the CUBE with a filter, Active Carbon and Hollow Fiber filter is available in our webshop. The filter is installed between the cold water line and the CUBE. The Active Carbon filter improves water quality by reducing unpleasant tastes and odors. The Hollow Fiber filter purifies the incoming water of any remaining bacteria. It also removes sand particles and suspended dust from the water. The filter lasts an average of 12 months or 3,500 liters. The CUBE gives a sound signal when the filter needs to be replaced. The CUBE filter does not need to be returned.
