This original Lavanto 240018 basket plug is suitable for all Lavanto, Lanesto and Dékorado sinks with round basket plug. The Lavanto 240018 basket plug acts as a strainer and prevents food residue from entering the sink drain. By pushing down the plug, you completely close the drain of the Lavanto sink. This allows you to use the sink for hand washing and thus acts as a stopper. The Lavanto 240018 basket plug is made of chrome-plated brass and therefore will not rust. The basket is round and shiny chrome in color. The basket plug comes complete with steel pin, sealing rubber and steel ring. There is a black rubber ring around a steel ring with this basket plug. Lavanto 240018 Basket plug maintenance

The Lavanto 240018 sink plug can be cleaned by putting it in the dishwasher to get all the dirt off the basket strainer. For stubborn tea stains, you can use a special stainless steel cleaner or non-aggressive cleaners, dish soap and all-purpose cleaner are a great alternative. Use an abrasive sponge (not a pan sponge!) for this purpose. With this you can clean the plug well and get rid of grease and caked-on residue. After this, use a microfiber cloth to polish the basket nicely. If the basket plug rubber of the Lavanto 240018 sink plug is broken, you will need to order a new basket plug. There are no loose rubbers available for this.
