original 133.0175.965 Turbo Franke basket plug is suitable for several Franke sinks. The Franke Turbo basket plug acts as a strainer and prevents food residue from entering the sink. By pushing the plug down, you completely close off the drain of the Franke sink and thus acts as a stopper. This allows you to use the sink for dishwashing by hand. The Franke Turbo 133.0175.965 basket plug is made of brushed stainless steel and therefore will not rust. The basket plug is round and matte stainless steel in color. This Franke Turbo basket plug comes with a steel pin, sealing rubber and plastic ring. There is a black rubber ring around a plastic ring with this basket plug. The knob of the basket plug must have the text FRANKE on it and the bottom must have a black plastic ring with a rubber ring around it.

If the basket plug sinks into the sink and thus no longer stays up, you will need a new basket plug. The ball will then probably have fallen out of the pin.

.If you have a Belgian sink, then there is a good chance that you have this plug FRANKE 133.0008.411. This plug has a higher bottom with a white or clear plastic ring.
Please note: Basket plugs cannot be returned.
Many basket plugs look alike, but every brand and type number has different dimensions. Because many customers guess and incur unnecessary costs for us and the customer, basket plugs cannot be returned. Not even if the plug is still in its packaging. Therefore, make sure you order the correct type number. What can you do to be sure which basket plug you need?
1 | Check in the product description whether the basket plug is suitable for your sink type number. So for this plug the text FRANKE must be at the top. |
2 | Check if your basket plug looks exactly the same, i.e. shape, rubber in the same place, shape of the knob etc... (if you still have it) and make sure they match the features on Properties tab. |
3 | Are you unable to figure it out? We are happy to help. Take a picture of the top and bottom of your old basket plug. If you no longer have a basket plug, please take a picture of the top of your sink and a picture of the connection of your basket plug set in your sink cabinet and possibly measure the size of the overflow (thin tube which goes to the overflow which is usually 25 or 30mm) and send these pictures, the brand and possibly the year of production to us via WhatsApp or contact us via chat or mail mail@vervangingsmarkt.nl. The production year and week are usually on the bottom of the sink on an orange sticker. |
Franke 133.0175.965 Turbo basket plug maintenanceThe
Franke Turbo sink plug can be cleaned by putting it in the dishwasher to get all the dirt off the basket strainer. For stubborn tea stains, you can use a special stainless steel cleaner such as; non-aggressive detergents, dish soap and all-purpose cleaner are a great alternative. Use an abrasive sponge (not a pan sponge!) for this purpose. With this you can clean the plug well and get rid of grease and caked-on residue. After this, use a microfiber cloth to polish the basket nicely. If the basket plug rubber of the Franke Turbo sink plug is broken, you can order only the loose basket plug rubber at the bottom of this page.
