Franke 133.0008.411 Basket plug
This original Franke 133.008.411 basket plug is suitable for various Franke sinks delivered in Belgium or Germany. The Franke 133.008.411 basket plug works as a sieve and prevents food residues from entering the sink. By pushing the plug down, you completely close off the drain of the Franke sink. This allows you to use the sink for a hand wash and thus acts as a stopper.
The Franke 133.008.411 basket plug is made of stainless steel and therefore will not rust. The basket plug is round and matt stainless steel in color. The basket plug comes complete with steel pin, sealing rubber and plastic ring. There is a black rubber ring around a white or transparent ring with this basket plug.

The diameter of this plug is 82mm. The top of the plug bears the text FRANKE.
The plastic ring of the basket plug must be of white or transparent plastic.
The plastic ring may bear the text 642.48/4 642.48/2 or 642.48/1 >PP/TPE<.
This plug has been widely supplied in Germany and Belgium.
Please note: Basket plugs cannot be returned.
Many basket plugs look alike, but every brand and type number has different dimensions. Because many customers guess and incur unnecessary costs for us and the customer, basket plugs cannot be returned. Not even if the plug is still in its packaging. Therefore, make sure you order the correct type number. What can you do to be sure which basket plug you need?
1 | Check the product description to see if the basket plug is suitable for your sink type number. For this plug, the size of your old plug must be 82mm and it must be a FRANKE sink. Also, the plastic ring that the rubber surrounds must be white or transparent. |
2 | See if your basket plug looks exactly the same, i.e. shape, rubber in the same place, shape of the knob etc... (if you still have it) and make sure they match the characteristics on Properties tab. |
3 | Are you unable to figure it out? We are happy to help. Take a picture of the top and bottom of your old basket plug. If you no longer have a basket plug, please take a picture of the top of your sink and a picture of the connection of your basket plug set in your sink cabinet and possibly measure the size of the overflow (thin tube that goes to the overflow which is usually 25 or 30mm) and send these pictures, the brand and possibly the year of production to us via WhatsApp or contact us via chat or email(mail@vervangingsmarkt.nl). The production year and week are usually found at the bottom of the sink on an orange sticker. |
Franke 133.008.411 Basket plug service
The Franke 133.008.411 sink plug can be cleaned by putting it in the dishwasher to get all the debris off the basket strainer
.
For stubborn tea stains, use a special stainless steel cleaner or non-aggressive cleaners, dish soap and all-purpose cleaner are a great alternative. Use an abrasive sponge (not a pan sponge!) for this purpose. With this you can clean the plug well and get rid of grease and caked-on residue. After this, use a microfiber cloth to polish the basket nicely.
If the basket plug rubber of the Franke 133.008.411 sink plug is broken, you will need to order a new basket plug. There are no loose rubbers available for this.
